My husband and I found this place last minute after an unpleasant camping experience nearby. We called at 10pm and thankfully The Berkshire Inn had a room available for the next two nights. We showed up after 10:30pm to a smiling face and a warm welcome. We were offered coffee and tea before shown to our room. This was our first experience with a BNB, and we were blown away by the wonderful stay we had. The owners are kind and friendly, and treated us like we were family who came to stay with them. The breakfast each morning was made to order and delicious. Dare I say the best pancakes I have ever had in my life! The rooms are cozy and very comfortable, and the common spaces feel like a lovely lived in home. The next time we come to Yosemite, we will definitely be booking a room here again!

Just when humanity looks like they are lost we meet the family at Berkshire. We went to Yosemite for the day and decided to stay the night since it was getting late. My wife called a few Inns then she called Berkshire and they took us in. Great room with comfortable beds. Brittany, Chris, Carson, Princes Zelda (Cat) and Chance (Dog) were awesome. I hope I am spelling everyone’s names correctly. Their son entertained us till breakfast was served. He displayed quite a few stuffed toys and was so sweet. After breakfast their dog, Chance, was eager to meet us and gave us the full body wag. The cat was having none of it. I highly recommend this Inn. They are the sweetest family we have met in a long time. Thank you from: Johnny, Ashley and Hunter Ray. We will see you again soon.

I ADORE this charming 2nd gen run inn! LOVE LOVE LOVE Made me feel like a new old friend my first time there (6/2025), though my companion has been coming here since 2009. Spectacular surroundings though right on the road to Yosemite. The dbl Q suite (rm 4) for our party of 3 even had a smart TV so I could stream to unwind. Had all usual hotel perks except a hair dryer. B even tossed my wrinkled outfit into the dryer Clean, *very* accommodating (we unexpectedly arrived @10am instead of 4pm), and the made-from-scratch buttered pancakes were soooo good I didn’t even need syrup!!! Owners Chris & Brittney are hard at work renovating the gorgeous property - complete with Dot and the girls (chickens)! They have lovely art and historic furnishings throughout. The ideal B&B experience for me - with added love from their adorable golden lab Chance and friendly son. So sweet! Many thanks, until we meet again.

Accommodation located near Yosemite National Park. Run by a super friendly and loving family! The homemade pancakes are outstanding! The rooms are clean and spacious. One minor drawback: a bit noisy, and you can hear passing cars from the road! But highly recommended!

We loved our stay at the Berkshire Inn! Chris and Brittany are phenomenal hosts. Their location was perfect for our drive out of Yosemite. The rooms were well appointed, clean and made us feel right at home after a long couple days camping and hiking half dome! The breakfast? Some of the BEST I've had. Brittany wasn't lying when she said she makes amazing pancakes. My husband loved them and my meal was great. They are super sweet people and the whole experience was delightful. If we're in the area, we'd definitely come back and tell our friends about this place. If you're in the area, don't hesitate to book here.

Amazing ambiance. The perfect B&B pre/post Yosemite trip. Proprietors are lovely; and the homemade zucchini bread served with included breakfast is the best I have ever had.

What a surprising delight! We were just looking for a place to sleep between days at Yosemite. But what we found was just one more highlight of a fantastic getaway for my wife and I. We were welcomed as we arrived after dark, and enjoyed a wonderful time on their moondeck, gazing at the myriad of stars on a clear moonless night, while reclining in their uber-comfy deck lounge chairs. Our room was completely clean. After a great night's sleep we enjoyed a delicious and filling breakfast before heading back into Yosemite. Chris and Brittany couldn't have been more hospitable. We're so glad we came across your place. Happy Birthday, Brittany!
